Growing in God's Wisdom

Looking at the realities of our present age, one would not doubt but agree with

words of the Apostle Paul about the Last Days.

Paul shares about the realities and evil that would characterize the last Days in

2nd Timothy 3. He calls Timothy to stand out in his generation by living in

consistency with the teachings of God's word which he had learnt and become

convinced of and which would make him wise for salvation through faith in Christ.

He emphasizes on the centrality of scriptures as the living and active breath of

God; useful for guidance, correction, rebuke and training in righteousness for

effective Christian living in the last days.

In our blog posts, we will be taking time to read, meditate on and prayerfully apply

scriptures in our daily lives with the aim of Growing in God's Wisdom. Our theme

is drawn from Ephesians 5:15-20.

15 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the

most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be

foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. 18 Do not get drunk on wine, which

leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another

with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your

heart to the Lord, 20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in

the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our desire is to live effective Christian lives as role models and value driven

leaders in our generation. May the Lord bless you and grant you favor and grace as you seek to live and grow in wisdom.
